Riley went to Des Moines for another dance competition and came home with first place in her category and while in their rooms preceding eve, took this picture through the window. Interesting ...........  I don't know what kind of dance it was but they had costumes.  Then they have to do a warmup and get all loosened up .........  And the result .........    Busy girl ...... she's in this "Old MacDonald" school program as a mouse.  And speaking of busy girls, here is another one ........ Emily. Here is a series of pictures of her at "track" and then at her Senior Prom.         
 And they are still at it ..... time for
studio pictures and here's Riley.
 Ethan graduates from the eighth grade! Yeeaaa .......  Troy is still fishing. Hunting and fishing are his forte' you know ......... Looks like he has a little of everything with 3-4 walleyes.  Emily is turning into one heck of a ballplayer - here are a series of photos showing it ......... she's been catching and is good hitter.        No passed balls though she had to chase and then on 1st base and then to home. And Riley started playing ...... here is a series showing hitting and fielding     Hmmmmm ....... Post-game celebration?  Zoie and Riley are on the same team. And then ....... something
of a disaster. Emily was enjured in a game. Game
started ok and she threw out the only one to run
against her. Then she was hit pretty hard in the
shoulder with a ball and then a ball struck her
right hand and broke one finger and peeled the
fingernail up and almost off of another. The
finger bled quite a bit but she got lots of
attention there. Our family doctor, who has a
daughter playing on the team, was there and
helped. Emily stayed there but they wound up
losing the game, of course. When you have one of
those "bad games" NOTHING goes right.
     So, she won't be playing for a couple weeks, at least. She's good on the bases so she may see some of that but I doubt she plays defensive ball for awhile.
